The silk screen industry is Anping's characteristic industry and leading industry, and is one of the 107 provincial key county-level characteristic industrial clusters. In recent years, the Anping County Party Committee and County Government have focused on promoting the seven major projects of silk screen industry transformation and upgrading, including technology empowerment, iterative upgrading, external introduction and internal cultivation, factor guarantee, entrepreneur cultivation, business environment peace of mind, reform and innovation, in accordance with the requirements of "cluster development, park-based carrying, large project drive, and large enterprise leadership". The output value of silk screen will reach 85 billion yuan in 2022, and it is expected to reach 100 billion yuan in 2023. It has won the honorary titles of National Foreign Trade Transformation and Upgrading Demonstration Base and National Small and Medium Enterprises Characteristic Industrial Cluster.
In order to promote the agglomeration of enterprises, industrial clusters and intensive development of industrial parks, the Anping County Party Committee and County Government started the construction of the South District of the Wire Mesh Industrial Park in 2002 and the construction of the High-tech Zone in 2010, with a planned area of 24.47 square kilometers, a built-up area of 12 square kilometers, and 128 enterprises with an investment of more than 100 million yuan. A logistics park has been built, with 218 logistics and distribution companies settled in, and the transportation lines cover all cities above the county level in the country, and it has been rated as a national 5A-level logistics park.

Relying on its locational advantage adjacent to Xiong'an, Anping County has planned to establish the Anping section of the Xiongheng Cooperation Zone. It is currently building parks within parks such as the Huarong Environmental Protection Industrial Park, the Green Building Materials Industrial Park and the Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Base. At present, the multi-storey standard factory buildings of the intelligent manufacturing base have been completed and put into use, and 6 companies have settled in. The wire mesh industry has achieved a transformation from "every village ignited" to "industrial agglomeration".
Up to now, there are 15,800 wire mesh tax-paying enterprises in Anping County, with more than 40,000 people doing business abroad, covering administrative regions above the county level across the country; more than 210,000 employees, contributing more than 70% to the county's GDP, fiscal revenue, and per capita net income of farmers. It has been awarded the title of China's Wire Mesh Weaving City and China's Wire Mesh Capital.
